東京工業大学大岡山キャンパスに完成した国際交流施設「Hisao＆Hiroko Takiplaza」で4月17日、18日の２日間「若葉祭」と名付けた学生向けのオープニング記念イベントが開催されました。学生委員会である「Taki Plaza Gardener」が初めてとなる「若葉祭」を企画・運営し、学生支援と国際交流が体験できるイベントを行いました。
「Taki Plaza Gardener」とは、2018年10月の東工大グランプリ（Taki Plaza 活用検討ワークショップ）をきっかけに誕生した「Taki Plaza」の企画・運営を行う学生グループです。「Taki Plaza」の階段上の外観から、１つの木をイメージするフロアコンセプトの考案も彼らが行いました。「Taki Plaza Gardener」には、１つの木である「Taki Plaza」 を育てる「庭師」という意味がこめられています。「Taki Plaza Gardener」による初めての大規模イベントである「若葉祭」についての記事をぜひご覧ください！
An opening commemorative event for students named “Wakaba Festival” was held on April 17th and 18th at International Exchange Facility “Hisao&Hiroko TakiPlaza”.
The student committee, “TakiPlazaGardener” operated and planned the “Wakaba Festival” for the first time, and held an event where students can support and experience international exchange. “TakiPlazaGardner” is a student group that plans and manages “TakiPlaza”, which was born after the Tokyo Institute of Technology Grand Prix (Taki Plaza utilization study workshop) in October 2018. They also devised a floor concept that imagines a single tree from the appearance on the stairs of “TakiPlaza”. “TakiPlazaGardener” means the gardener raising one tree “TakiPlaza”.
