A ABOUT
TAKI PLAZAについて
大岡山キャンパスの新たなランドマークに
本学は、2016年4月以来、「将来、科学・技術の力で世界に貢献するため、学生が自ら進んで学び、鍛錬する“志”を育てたい」というコンセプトの下、教育改革を進めてきました｡
国際舞台で活躍する学生を育成するためには大胆な国際化が必須であり、国内から進学した全学生に留学や国際経験を推奨し、またより多くの留学生を受け入れるために留学プログラムの拡充を行っています。
そのような取り組みを進める中で、本学の卒業生である株式会社ぐるなび 取締役会長の滝久雄氏より、留学生を中心とした学生の支援および交流の場を設置する目的で多額の寄附を受け、大岡山キャンパスの新たなランドマークとすべくHisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza（Taki Plaza）を設置することとなりました。
Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plazaという名称には、寄附者に感謝の意を表すとともに、学生が集う場所という思いが込められています。
Landmark exchange hub to open on Ookayama Campus in late 2020
Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza (“Taki Plaza”) will be a hub for academic and cultural exchange for our students, designed to be a space where international and Japanese students connect, deepen ties, and create a better future together.
Taki Plaza is the fruition of a long-cultivated dream held and grown by its patrons as well as Tokyo Tech. Activities at the facility will significantly enhance Tokyo Tech’s education reform launched in April 2016, aiming to further empower students with drive and vision, contributing to the world through science and technology. One of the main pillars of the reform is advancing diversity in many forms, especially with regard to internationalization. A campus facility serving as a rendezvous point for international exchange was crucial for its enhancement.
The timely contribution in both spirit and finance by our alumnus, Hisao Taki, Chairman and Director of Gurunavi. Inc., made this possible.

2023年11月29日（水）12:30～13:10、東京工業大学大岡山キャンパスにある学生交流施設Taki Plazaにて、学生が社会への関心を高めるイベント「生成系AIの社会課題」を開催しました。 On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 12:30 to 13:10, we held the event "Social Issues of Generative AI" at Taki Plaza, a student exchange facility on the Ookayama campus of Tokyo Institute of Technology.

イベント開催報告 「留学から帰ってきた君たちはどう生きるか」
東京工業大学大岡山キャンパスの学生交流施設Taki Plazaにて10月11日に留学経験者の交流を目的としたイベント「留学から帰ってきた君たちはどう生きるか」を開催しました。 留学未経験者から長期留学経験者まで、当日は30名前後の参加者が集まり自身の留学経験や目標の言語化、参加者同士の交流を行いました。留学経験者への相談や留学時のエピソードを共有しあうなど、各々が効果的にイベントを活用しており大盛況に終わりました。１時間半という短い時間でしたが、イベント後もスペースに残って交流を続ける参加者も多数見受けられました。 今後もこのようなイベントを開催していくのでぜひチェックしてみてくださいね。FLAPのウェブサイトにもいろんな情報がありますので是非遊びに来てください On October 11th, an event titled “How to live your life after returning from study abroad” was held at Taki Plaza. It was aimed at promoting communications among individuals interested in studying abroad. Approximately 30 participants, ranging from those who have never studied abroad to those with extensive experience, attended the event. They engaged in discussions about their own study abroad experiences, articulating their goals, and networking with fellow participants. The atmosphere was lively as they shared advice or their own experiences. Although the event was relatively short, many participants were observed continuing their discussion staying in the space even after the event finished. We plan to continue hosting events like this event, so please make sure to check them out. There is also much information available on our FLAP website, so please visit our website.

学生交流支援基金STUDENT COMMUNITY FUND
TakiPlaza では、学生による学生のためのサービスを実現するため、イベントの企画や窓口対応、館内案内の一部を学生が担当する予定です。また、日本人学生と留学生による相互語学学習だけでなく、理工系教養科目やアカデミックライティングにおいても、学生同士の学び合い（ピアサポート）を拡充します。これらの学生活動および大学全体の学生交流活動を、継続的に活性化するための財政基盤構築を目的として、学生交流支援基金を創設しました。未来社会をリードする東工大生を育成するため、ご支援を賜りたく、よろしくお願い申し上げます。
In the spirit of Taki Plaza’s mission to offer services designed by students themselves, students will directly oversee key portions of event planning, counter information, and onsite services. In addition to mutual language learning between Japanese and international students, we will expand peer support programs in Basic Science and Technology Courses as well as academic writing.
The Student Community Fund was established to build a financial foundation to sustain and energize these student activities and university-wide student exchange initiatives over the long term. We ask for your support of this pivotal fund that empowers our students to play leading roles in meeting the rapidly emerging needs of the future.
